The GIANTS Team

Below is the basics on the core producers and contributors to the project, but in reality the GIANTS Team expands far beyond the names listed below.  We have numerous guests in every show.  A whole staff of amazing people backing us up at The Cultch.  And of course you the internet readers of the world – the biggest team of all.

Nick Harvey-Cheetham, Co-Founder, Co-Artistic Director

Nick is a man about comedy about town.  Producer of 10 SPEED, co-founder of Pump Trolley Comedy, improviser with Instant Theatre, and former co-president of UBCimprov, Nick is known for being quite similar in disposition to a cat.

Tom Hill, Co-Founder, Co-Artistic Director

Full-time comedian and full-time marketing man, Tom stands out most for his love of cheddar cheese.  A writer/performer and/or producer with Hip.Bang!, Pump Trolley Comedy, and Instant Theatre, he also works on projects like STEEL VIPER FORCE and is a co-producer of 10 SPEED.

Sarah Szloboda, Co-Artistic Director

Sarah is an actor/director/writer and graduate of Capilano University, where she learned among other things how to write in third person. She is a feature in the Vancouver comedy, improv, film, theatre, and writing scenes.  GIANTS is her favourite scene.  Scene.

Weekend Leisure, Video Direction

Weekend Leisure is an art/karaoke/comedy/video collective based in Vancouver, Canada. The four members are Christy Nyiri, Curtis Grahauer, Erich Gerl and Pietro Sammarco, and they are the creators of all the GIANTS video content (co-creators with The Shots on GIANTS Theme).  They are shooting Vancouver’s first action film this year, check out STEEL VIPER FORCE‘s site for details.

Christy Nyiri, Web Design/Art Direction

Christy is a real big deal.  In addition to being one quarter of Weekend Leisure, she designed all things visual around this project with collaborator Mark Stuckert.  She is also responsible for much of the design on all sorts of cool comedy projects in Vancouver.

Jordan Cohen, GhomeshiGurl

Jordan is a writer / funny man that works hard for his money at Rethink.  When not working he creates funny short jokes on twitter and performs stand up comedy around town.  He is the man behind GhomeshiGurl, the self-reflective, hilarious comedy blog within GIANTSComedy.com.

The Shots

The Shots are a very fine group of film professionals making film professional for quite some time.  Joining GIANTS for the creation and production of GIANTS Theme, the group is now devoutly focused on the forthcoming release of STEEL VIPER FORCE.
