Sister Act Improv & That Drummer Guy From the Whitecaps

On May 26th, GIANTS VI: THE FINALE will feature one of Vancouver’s most charming improv duos. Christine Bortolin and Bita Joudaki are Sister Act. There have been some tensions in the group of late, manly caused by Joudaki’s proclivity for running off with sport-related mascots, but they’re staying together for the kids.

Watching Sister Act is like being in high-school again…without having to be in high school again. Few improvisors combine sincere storytelling and overflowing charm the way that Bita Joudaki and Christine Bortolin do. When they’re onstage, everything is and inside joke and you’re in on it. This pair only performs on rare occasions, making their appearance in the finale of the GIANTS Comedy series all the more special.

On May 26th, GIANTS Comedy returns with a monumental closing show that puts the ‘fuck yeah’ in finale.
