GIANTS VI: THE FINALE

On May 26th, GIANTS Comedy returns with a monumental closing show that puts the ‘fuck yeah’ in finale.

Featuring a centrepiece collaboration between Charles Demers and Main Street Theatre and a line up that includes Graham Clark, Ivan Decker, Sister Act, The Progressive Polygamists, you can see why we needed to add an explicative to the word ‘finale’.

For close to year, GIANTS Comedy has worked to put together the biggest, best and most exciting comedy shows Vancouver has ever seen. GIANTS VI: THE FINALE will be no different. Well…it will be a litre bit different in a bigger and better kind of way. On May 26th in The Cultch’s Historic Theatre, the season will end with a very funny, very loud bang.

The core of GIANTS VI is a brand new comedic play written by comedian, author and former GIANTS Comedy guest, Charles Demers. Demers will be writing for the cast of Main Street Theatre, one of the most exciting theatre groups in Vancouver. You may remember one of their members, Ryan Beil, as the star of GIANTS III: SELF QUEST. From this super-powered comedic collaboration comes a brand new backstage drama which investigates the state of the arts scene in our fair city, replete with hilarious jabs both gentle and pointed.

THE FINALE also features an all-star collection of our favourite guests from the entire season, as well as some new guests we just had to save for the final show. If that’s not enough, we’ve got the final instalments of Delicious Things with Nik Bunting and News Around Now with Emmett Hall, as well as brand new videos from Weekend Leisure.
